Following the successful YES vote for the Brighouse BID, the Steering Group are now in the process of setting up the Brighouse BID Company, which will begin operations in April 2019.
Before April 2019 there is lots to get done, including appointing Members and Directors; recruiting a BID Manager; identifying a premises the BID can operate from and establishing Key Performance Indicators that will enable levy payers to see how much the BID is achieving for Brighouse.
As a Brighouse BID levy payer, whilst you have rights and influence, you will not automatically become a Member of the Brighouse BID Company. To become a Member, you will need to register your interest by Friday 7th December with Lesley Adams (Simply Flowers) at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Steering Group have agreed there will be a maximum of 20 Members on the Brighouse BID Board and Members should be representative of all sectors of business within Brighouse.
As a Member you would be responsible for overseeing the management of the Brighouse BID, whilst the Directors will be responsible for the day to day running of the BID the Members will have ultimate control over it. The Members approval will be needed to take the most important decisions effecting the BID, including the appointment and removal of the Directors. This is a great opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of Brighouse.
If you would like more information on what the BID Steering Group will be doing between now and commencement of operations in April 2019, please contact Lesley Adams (email@example.com).
